The Preakness Reformed Church gathers on Sunday mornings to worship God. According to the Bible Jesus rose from the dead on Sunday and so we gather on Sunday mornings to celebrate and give thanks for the new life we have with God! Each Sunday is a “little easter” reminding us of God’s love and grace.
We invite and welcome everyone to our Worship Services no matter where you are in your faith journey.
From the middle of September until Memorial Day weekend, we have Sunday morning worship service at 10am with a variety of music, Sunday school for the children and a nursery available for infants and toddlers.
Starting Memorial Day weekend, and continuing for the remainder of the summer, we hold worship service at 9:30am on Sunday.
During our Sunday morning worship services you can expect a warm welcome from our greeters and church family. You will also experience a sense of community and joy during the “passing of the peace.” We have wonderful music during our worship services which includes our sanctuary choir, our house band, a handbell choir, traditional hymns and contemporary songs. The messages from the pastors on Sundays are focused on Bible passages that proclaim the love and grace of God. It is our hope that through our worship services people not only experience God’s love and grace but then that they go and share that love and grace to others!
