WAYNE, NEW JERSEY
May 27, 2018 10:00 A.M.
Welcome to the Preakness Reformed Church!
“Our salvation is found in the person of Christ, who came to earth to remind us that God so loved the world that nothing would separate the God of creation from the brokenness of a fallen creation. Our salvation is found in the love of the God who makes all things new…And because of that love, nothing can ever be the same again.” - Allen T. Stanton

- THE APOSTLES’ CREED
I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth;
I believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead, and was buried;
He descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again;
He ascended into heaven,
he is seated on the right hand of the Father,
and he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.
- Let us welcome our sister in Christ.
Joyfully we receive you. Join us as we give witness in the world to the good news, and into the mission we share. Today we give thanks and praise to God. Alleluia!
Prayers of THANKSGIVING AND INTERCESSION …ending with The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name,
thy kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory,
