We testify, proclaim and bear witness to God’s creative and redeeming Word.

By the Holy Spirit we who believe and are baptized receive a ministry to witness to Jesus as Savior and Lord, and to love and serve those with whom we live and work.

We are ambassadors for Christ, who reconciles and makes whole. We are the salt of the earth; we also are the light of the world.

  • AFFIRMATION OF FAITH: Heidelberg Catechism Q & A #45 and #58

How does Christ’s resurrection benefit us?

First, by Christ’s resurrection he has overcome death, so that Christ could make us share in the righteousness which Christ has obtained for us by his death.

Second, by Christ’s power we too are raised up to a new life.

Third, Christ’s resurrection is to us a sure pledge of our glorious resurrection.

What comfort do you receive from the life everlasting?

Since I now already feel in my heart, the beginning of eternal joy, I shall after this life possess perfect blessedness, such as no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of anyone conceived a blessedness in which to praise God forever.
