      CALL TO WORSHIP

This night, we gather at the foot of the Cross.

May God deepen the trust and love in our hearts.

          On this Friday, the darkest human hour became the brightest Divine moment;

          On the Cross of Jesus, human disgrace sinks to its lowest point

          and divine glory reaches its zenith.

          Tonight, let us step much closer to the One on the Cross;

          Let us stay with the One who suffered in agony till the bitter end.

          Let us notice the eyes of Jesus searching for God.

          Because God’s wholly human Son had the courage to confront death,

          there is now no limit to God’s love, and no exclusion zone to salvation.
